Nutella lovers! This Banana Nutella Smoothie Recipe is just what you need! I’m not a breakfast person, but I’m a Nutella lover. I put this stuff on everything, so when my husband started his daily smoothie kick. I wanted to get in on the action, he makes these fantastic healthy, energy induced smoothies and I was looking for a way to make them more my style. Nutella is just so delicious, I dream of what I can eat it with. People will argue with me that Nutella is not healthy, it’s full of oils and other non-healthy ingredients. I think we can all agree that anything in moderation is fine and who are we to completely cut out our favorite things.

Banana Nutella Smoothie

Banana Nutella Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 Banana sliced (reader tip: try a frozen banana)
  • 3 Tablespoons Nutella (if you want to lessen the sweetness go for 2 tablespoons, I have a bit of a sweet tooth and was happy with 3)
  • 1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt
  • 16 large cubes of ice
  • Whip Cream *garnish

This recipe has been a huge hit and I have had endless comments and shares on it before I transitioned my blog rebrand. If you are looking for an even healthier version of this smoothie here are some great additions from my readers that will take this delicious smoothie up a notch. These are tried additions that readers previously raved about.

Optional ingredients:

  • 1 handful of frozen strawberries
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax

Add all ingredients in a blender until ice is blended. If you don’t have a good bender, consider investing in a Ninja, this one is my favorite. Pour into glass and add garnish and enjoy!
